Prey by Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance
Prey, a work that explores the tension between everyday life and raw survival. Prey is a marriage between the raw, blind intensity to survive with a tender reverence.
Its 3 phases performed in Brooklyn include performing in the halls, studios and outdoor spaces of the BAX Building in Park Slope Brooklyn, traveling over a mile through the diverse urban landscape of Red Hook and Coffey Park at twilight into nighttime, and inhabiting Visitation Church.
