'same SAME'

'same SAME' is a movement cycle about human connection and the shifts that take place within a group dynamic. Tension builds between one’s individual desired autonomy and the pressure to become part of a larger whole. Three altered groups of performers respond in real time to assemble, collide or unify based on each dancer’s different histories with a learned stylized movement score. Viewers witness an evolution in each cycle as relationships emerge and transform from the group’s decisions to find sameness or to separate in the moment.
